UPDATE 7/2023: I've increased my star rating to 5/5 stars. They really have done a lot to add value to their experience. The price is roughly the same as before (a bit better, actually) but now there is self serve ice cream, better selection of pizzas, and more arcade machines. They have all the prior stuff I listed, as well. Overall, this is an experience that the whole family looks forward to every time. Old review: Hopper's Pizza Buffet is a buffet with pizza, so what more could you ask for? Overall the pizza was pretty good and the variety wasn't bad, either. They had Multi-Meat, Supreme, Hawaiian, Chicken Alfredo, Veggie, and some others that I can't recall, but my point is Hopper's is covering the bases. Of course, what would a pizza buffet be complete without bread sticks, salad, soup, and dessert pizza? These were also present. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. There's booths and tables for whatever your party's size is. They even have a few arcade games, as well. The only gripe I have is, while I enjoyed the experience, I didn't think it was worth the money. Our group of five which consisted of three children and two adults cost right at about $50. I don't mind shelling that much for a fantastic experience, but for that much money, I wouldn't say the food quality matches the expense. I can get better pizza in the valley for less money and still get leftovers. Our bill did not even include fountain drinks. I want Hopper's to do well and believe that the valley sorely needs a restaurant like this. This place reminds me a bit of The Pizza Ranch, but the quality/price ratio isn't quite there, yet. Still, we'll probably be back eventually, just not soon.

Wonderful place with amazing wine! Friendly atmosphere, and we were able to talk with the wine maker himself and really learn about what went into making each wine!

1. It said $16 online for the nachos. Got there and they charged me $18 and said "I don't know what it says online." 2. I asked for a fork and the cashier girl handed it to me with her hand on the part you're supposed to stick in your mouth when she has been handling people's money and cards all day during a pandemic. 3. There was guacamole oozing out the top. So I ripped the flaps off so it wouldn't get all over my clothes or car as I tried to eat. (See photo I took of one of the flaps I ripped off) 4. There was no real cheese! Lol I paid $18 and the cheese wasn't even nacho cheese... It was like this really weird consistency that I've never seen before. Maybe it was some weird sauce and they just didn't put any actual cheese on? (See photo) 5. After you get past some of the stuff on the top, it quickly becomes just a tons of chips. It looks like a lot at first until all you're left with is half a bag of chips at the "bottom" which is like 90% of it (see photo) 6. The chicken was really dry. It's nachos from a food truck, so I'm not expecting anything too superb but these nachos were $18 and most of them I do not plan on finishing and I hate wasting food. But man, what a waste..

Lovely winery that’s just starting out. The winemakers came out and answered all sorts of questions while we were tasting.

We've eaten here a few times. The frybread is ? Very limited menu, it's always a long wait, and our food came out cold on our last visit. We haven't yet tried the buffet. We could be unlucky, but we've come here a couple times and it was unexpectedly closed for some reason. We hope they find what they need to be successful :)

The food is excellent, some gluten-free options--most are not gf. Ciders inside at the Taphouse are gf and the staff is really nice about it all. Great space, lots of room, relatively quiet at 12pm, which is great bc a/c + cider + food = happiness.

My partner and I drove from Portland to meet up with our Seattle friends for a wonderful weekend in Yakima and found ourselves at Sleeping Dog Wines, which was the main event planned for our second day. It was apparent we were driving up to someone’s property as we were warmly greeted by the winery owner and head taster, Larry to his beautiful home that overlooks the valley. It was a warm day with a shaded seating area where we could see quails freely roaming and the garden flourishing as we marveled at the unique Rosé that was hatched from the same plot of land we enjoyed it on. This experience was vastly different from our mainstream winery experience the day before where we sat in a barrel room with a modest view of the winery and had a distant relationship with our sommelier. Larry walked us through each flavor profile as he described his intention behind selecting and growing the grapes in community with his neighbors, the farmers. This was an exceptional learning process as Larry shared his intricate knowledge of wine production, the intersections of his other studies/passions and how that led to the exciting experimental and classic wine productions coming from his home. I couldn’t speak more highly of my tasting experience here and Larry’s hospitality. A sincere recommendation if you are in the area or planning to be!

We saw the wing Wednesday on a triangle sign out front before we checked in to our hotel. We went there around 3 to eat before fishing. The wings were phenomenal. Homemade ranch dressing that is out of this world and the best we had ever had. We went fishing until 8 and then need something to eat. We stopped at several places before going back to Old Nick's. The owner was willing to feed us again at 8:59. We so appreciated it. We had wings again and a side of tots. The owner talked with us as we waited and ate. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
