Beautiful afternoon on the patio today at Abacela. Great wine & snacks and excellent service! I enjoyed the Lookingglass Brewery blonde ale, too.
Wife and I traveled to Oregon for our 5 year anniversary. We heard the winery scene is fantastic in this area and Abacela did not disappoint. We we served by Amy, she was friendly and informative. She also suggested other wineries to try while we were here. Wine was very good, I’m not a big wine person but really enjoyed the Signature flight. My wife wished she had more room in her luggage to take home a few bottles.

Visited as part of the Umpqua Wine harvest tour. I wish I had been able to enjoy this winery a little bit better. It was quite busy this day and unfortunately only sampled one wine.

We have been wanting to try the Roseburg wine region for some time now, and finally got a chance to stop in while on the way to the coast. This winery has a stunning facility with gorgeous views! The staff was friendly, though they struggled with a couple of my questions about their wines.
The wines themselves are ok for the most part, with the Tempernillo being their best by far. The wine making philosophy seems centered on re-creating the climate of Spain wine growing regions, which is an interesting approach. I would love to try thier wines 10 years down the road when they have had a chance to refine their winemaking. Definitely worth a visit!

My wife and I did the Vineyard tour with Greg Jones the CEO and had the best time. We learned so much and got treated to beautiful sites and delicious wines. It was incredibly special and can’t thank the Abacela team enough for making it one of the highlights of our vacation to southern Oregon.
