What a hidden gem. While traveling, I was told about Hale's fries and onion rings. So I thought, why not? First off, I was greeted at the door with a smile and quick seating. I ordered a sweet tea and it was one of the best for a restaurant. The menu is large with probably something for everyone, including a breakfast menu. I'm not sure if breakfast is served all day. I ordered a Reuben and onion rings. The reuben was great, but the onion rings are some of the best homemade onion rings I have ever had and a very large portion. This restaurant does not skimp on portions and in today's world that is much appreciated from me. I got my money's worth. Keep up the high standards Hale's, great job.

The service absolutely sucked! We didn’t get our drinks until after we got our meals and forgot to bring our salads until I asked about them. My steak was well done when I ordered med. rare. When I said something, they said they had a big party. Well what about my service. I am a paying customer too. If you can’t provide service for all that walk through your door then set a cap so that you can handle it. So disappointing.

12oz Ribeye Steak 1/5 (I ordered medium rare but it came out way too tough and chewy. Fatty portion of steak was rock hard. Gave up after I'd eaten about a third)

I stopped by here while on business. Overall I'll give it a 3 star experience. I ate my fill of fries and salad but left the rest of my steak for the garbage can. Pretty disappointed in that part of my visit. The service was very very friendly. If only the cooks would've taken a little more care into cooking the steak right it would've been a great experience overall. The staff earned my 3 stars. Unfortunately I'll pass up on visiting this location on my next business trip to Hermiston.

The food portion size will feed you for a couple of days! ? It's my dad's favorite place and dinner was for his Birthday. Food was delicious! The waitresses (we went twice while visiting) were polite, kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend it if you're in the area!! ??
